Fondest/Worst Memory:

revolved around my participation in speech and debate activities which
occupied all of energy my last two years of High School. Everything else
is a blur.
What
I've Learned Since Graduation
You don't need a lot of friends
just a few really good ones. Family should come first. The older I get the
more I become like my parents in a thousand small ways and my older
children are discovering the same thing which is hilarious. Rent first
before you buy. It is always better to laugh than get angry.
The
Last 35 Years
I went to school and got a Masters degree so I could
teach. Taught at a University for a couple of years and hated it because I
didn't feel that I was very good at it. Went to law school rather
than get a Ph.D. because I lucked into a scholarship at Baylor. Married and
had a baby early on. Have practiced law for 25 years although I always
felt that I was meant to do something else. Divorced and remarried. Have a
total of six children including a surprise 5 year old daughter to go with
my other four daughters and nine year old son. I am trying to get into
business that is not law related now because I am very tired of the kind
of conflict that comes with being a trial lawyer.
