Fondest/Worst Memory
Fondest: Rehearsals for Camelot
- arguing with Terry Massey in Geometry - Senior Year
Worst:
Driver's Ed with Mr. Knox - I tried to run a yellow
light and he stomped on the brake making the car screech to a halt in
downtown Dallas with tons of people on the corner! Then, there was the
horror of Mr. Cochran's class and the terror of him possibly embarrassing
you to tears and the system of seating you according to your grades in his
class!
What
I've Learned Since Graduation
No one is indispensable and that at the end of the
day when all is said and done and we are six feet under - we are all the
same.
The
Last 35 Years
Well, let's see - for those of you that
knew I was adopted and that I always wanted to find my birth family - I
did that in 1991 and it has been great to finally be able to "know who I
am" and to have more of an idea of my background. I have worked pretty
much since I got out of Business College with an Associate's Degree -
9/10th of the time in banking - first with Citibank for 19 years and now
with Wells Fargo. Married twice - 1st time for 13 years with a son who is
now 31. Second time, for 18 years now - he had custody of his three
children - a boy (age 4 at the time) and two girls (ages 2 and 7) - and
then we have a son of our own. - going to be 16 next week. We lived for a
time in Duncanville then moved to Midlothian where we have been for the
last 12 years. We like it a lot there - peace and quiet. It is amazing how
many old Sunset people from years other than 1970 live in Midlothian.
